Red houses in a white world. Finnmark, Norway, Arctic

Red houses in a white world. Finnmark, Norway, Arctic

I have here started on my way South, driving along Porsangerfjorden in Finnmark - as a curiosity, this morning I am (70 N 26 E) as far east as Bucharest, Romania, and as far north as Point Barrow in Alaska.
Finnmark also have a border directly to Russia and the Murmansk region a bit further East.

From the net
Finnmark is the northernmost and easternmost county in Norway (Svalbard is not considered a county).

By area, Finnmark is Norway's largest county; even larger than the neighboring country of Denmark.

However, with a population of about 75,000, it is also the least populated of all Norwegian counties.
